| The Blair Bros., Inc. is a
licensed applicator of StreetPrint
Pavement Texturing. The company has experienced installers
who are accredited by Integrated Paving Concepts, Inc. of
Victoria, British Columbia.
The
StreetPrint product is an
efficient and cost effective method to provide an attractive
paved surface through pavement texturing. Pavement Texturing
can be used in most areas which could normally be paved with
hot mix asphalt.
Typical applications would include parking lots, residential
streets, walkways, crosswalks, traffic islands, entrance
areas, and driveways. The product may be installed over a
prepared stone base or as an overlay on an existing paved
surface that is less than 5 years old. The resulting
textured pavement is both a rugged and elegant addition to
any outdoor area.
Advantages of a StreetPrint Application
Flexible
Pavement
StreetPrint is a flexible pavement which
makes it resistant to cracking and eliminates the need for
expansion joints compared with imprinted Portland Cement
concrete.
Continuous Surface
StreetPrint is a continuous, waterproof
surface which resists weed growth and inhibits the migration
of water to the base thereby reducing the possibility of
base failures due to erosion or freeze-thaw cycles. The
StreetBond material also reduces the effects of weathering
from water, freeze-thaw cycles and sun (ultra violet
exposure).
Easy Maintenance
StreetPrint is easily repairable and has
low maintenance costs.
Salt Resistance
StreetPrint does not react to salt used
for deicing or from salt air in coastal climates. Portland
Cement concrete products including cement bricks can spall
and degrade through the reaction of the cement with salt.
Quick Installation
StreetPrint can be installed very quickly
(as much as 10 times faster than cement bricks) resulting in
much less disruption to traffic.
Elaborate Decorative Patterns
StreetPrint makes it practical to create
embossed artwork in the surface. One of a kind designs can
be quickly and easily made with a number of templates using
numbers, letters, and various brick and cobblestone patterns
including arches and circles. Epoxy-fortified acrylic
emulsion coatings add colors.. |
